Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) 2026

Malaysia’s premier long-distance running event, the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) 2026, is officially scheduled to return on Saturday and Sunday, 3 and 4 October 2026. Taking place at its iconic home ground of Dataran Merdeka, this landmark 17th edition stands as the first and only road race in the country to hold a prestigious World Athletics Elite Label. Adding massive competitive stakes to this year's event, KLSCM 2026 has been officially designated as the preliminary selection event for the upcoming SEA Games 2027, drawing elite runners from across the region alongside tens of thousands of local and international participants.
