The Sky Race

Following its highly successful 2025 debut, The IHH Sky Race | Merdeka 118 is returning on August 22 and 23, 2026, solidifying its reputation as the world's biggest and highest vertical tower climb. Organised by Fresh Events Asia, the mass-participation event challenges runners, fitness enthusiasts, and everyday adventurers to conquer 118 floors and 2,845 steps inside Malaysia's defining skyscraper—the second tallest building in the world. To accommodate an expanded field of up to 9,000 global participants, the 2026 edition has grown into a two-day format featuring individual time trials on Saturday and a Team of 3 category on Sunday, all backed by a new three-year title sponsorship with IHH Healthcare Malaysia.
